Marksbury continue to dominate the snooker scene in Bath as they won the Division 1 Snooker Championship for a third consecutive season.
Following the cancellation of the 2020/21 campaign due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Bath Billiards & Snooker League returned to full playing activities for 2021/22 and there was a familiar story as the team from Marksbury (pictured below with Life Member David Lord) claimed all the major team and individual titles.
Ryan Fletcher (Marksbury) completed an impressive double by winning the Bath Individual Snooker Championship, and alongside playing partner Jaymie Thornbury was also victorious in the Bath Pairs Knockout Championship.
Lee Jorden (pictured below) made the season’s highest break with an effort of 122.
The BB&SL held their end of season presentation at the Lansdown Cricket Club earlier this month. Their 2022/23 season is set to begin in September; for more information, please visit their website here.
