The English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards is delighted to announce the players that have qualified for the upcoming EBSA European Amateur Snooker Championships that will take place in Malta next month.
First held in 1988, this prestigious continental event is organised by the European Billiards and Snooker Association. The 2023 edition – featuring the main open championship and junior categories – will be held at the Dolmen Hotel in St. Paul’s Bay between March 6-18. The Malta Billiards and Snooker Association (MBSA) is the host nation organiser.
As well as competing for the titles and prize money on offer, the winners of the Main and Under-21 Championships will also receive two-year World Snooker Tour cards for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.
The English players who have qualified for the Championships through EPSB events are as follows:
The highest ranked eligible players from the 2022/23 Under-21 PD Tour
The highest ranked eligible players from the 2022/23 Under-21 PD Tour, except for Asten Sahota who qualified via the Under-16 Junior Series at time of selection.
