The draw for the 104th edition of the Landywood English Amateur Championship is now available with a trio of regional qualifiers taking place on Saturday across the North, Midlands and South of England.
Steven Hallworth added his name to the prestigious roll of honour of snooker’s longest running competition by defeating Callum Downing 6-4 in the final in March.
A total of 151 cueists will compete at the regional qualifiers on Saturday which take place at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds, Landywood Snooker Club in Walsall and Frames Sports Bar in Coulsdon.
Sixteen players will qualify from these events for the Finals Weekend, which will take place 5-6 April 2025 at the Landywood Snooker Club. Based on the entry numbers for each of Saturday’s events, qualification places have been allocated on a pro-rata basis as below:
Defending champion Hallworth will begin the defence of his crown at the Midlands qualifier in Walsall, which also features his opponent in the 2024 title match Downing.
