The deadline for entries into the groundbreaking all-new English League Snooker Championship, to be held at the Landywood Snooker Club, has been extended until Friday 5 April.
The event, announced in December, will be organised by snooker’s national governing body in England the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB), in partnership with the Landywood Snooker Club, and is open to all registered snooker leagues from across the country.
In a change to the initial announcement, we have now removed the requirement for players to have played at least two league matches this season.
The debut edition of the event will carry a guaranteed total prize fund of £4,500, with the winning team set to scoop a fantastic £1,500 prize and free entry for each winning player to the following season’s English Amateur Snooker Championship.
All events during the first staging of the Championship will be held at the Landywood Snooker Club.
