Following the previous WPBSA / EPSB statement earlier this week concerning the re-opening of our snooker clubs, we can today publicly make available our initial guidance that has been shared with our affiliated 147 Clubs.
As the governing body of snooker and billiards in England, the EPSB has a duty to issue its own sport-specific guidelines alongside the UK Government guidance.
We have put together the attached guidance with the help of our affiliated clubs that took part in our Zoom meetings, who have greatly contributed to this document.
Please be aware that these guidelines are in place to protect your club, its members, employees and volunteers, in line with the current UK Government guidance.
We hope that some of the restrictions to activity, competition and coaching will be lifted in due course once we hear further news from the government concerning indoor sport.
Please also check the Sport England ‘Return to Play’ link advice, which has useful resources covering numerous aspects of restarting, such as legal and insurance considerations.
If your club is not currently a member of our club affiliation scheme, with access to direct support and advice from the EPSB learn more about how your club can join the programme.
