Home » EPSB Stars Set for BetVictor Shoot Out

Several players from the EPSB circuit are set to feature in this week’s BetVictor Snooker Shoot Out professional ranking event in Milton Keynes.

Part of the BetVictor European Series, the fast-paced Shoot Out consists of single frame, ten-minute matches with 15 and 10 second shot clocks. Televised live throughout on Eurosport, the tournament has a total prize fund of £171,000, with the winner collecting £50,000.

At present, a total of ten EPSB members will be in action at the Marshall Arena across Thursday and Friday in the opening round, with the subsequent rounds taking place over the weekend.

EPSB nomination Connor Benzey – who finished second on the Under-21 Premier Development Tour – will face former English Amateur Snooker Championship winner Stuart Carrington on Thursday evening.

Finalist in the EPSB English Women’s Snooker Championship, Rebecca Kenna was nominated by the World Women’s Snooker Tour. Kenna plays Simon Lichtenberg during Thursday’s afternoon session.

Q-School top-up players Leo Fernandez, Kuldesh Johal, Oliver Brown, Daniel Womersley, Hamim Hussain, Alex Clenshaw, Simon Blackwell and Ian Martin are also scheduled to compete courtesy of their performances in Sheffield last summer.

Everyone here at the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards wishes you all well for the competition!
