Hamim Hussain has finished in first place on the 2024/25 EPSB Open Series ranking list to receive a funded place at this year’s Q School.
It is the second time that Hussain has achieved the feat, having also finished at the summit at the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign, making him the first player to do so since the series began in 2021.
A consistent campaign from the 23-year-old saw him win a title at the Oldham Snooker Academy in February and he has reached five further finals across multiple venues to end the season in top spot by four points.
Players ranked between second and 17th in the Open Series ranking list will be invited to a play-off event on Sunday 13 April at the Mill Brow Snooker Club where a further funded Q School place will be on offer to the winner. Please note that, if any players are ineligible or decline their entry, the next player in line from the final rankings list will be invited.
The 2024/25 Open Series has seen 31 events taking place across seven affiliated ‘147 Clubs’ with a total of 300 cueists competing in the series.
The EPSB Open Series Play-Off will take place on Sunday 13 April at the Mill Brow Snooker Club in Widnes and can be followed via WPBSA SnookerScores. The confirmed draw and schedule will be announced in due course.
