Craig Steadman defeated Ryan Davies 7-3 to win the English 6-Reds Snooker Championship at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.
The former professional secured seven consecutive victories to earn the title for the second time in his career and take home the prestigious Jake Nicholson Trophy.
The two-day event saw 50 players embark on West Yorkshire with the opening day featuring a group stage that saw eventual champion Steadman overcome Jamie Curtis Barrett, Anthony Wall and John Barnes to secure a place in the last 16.
Back-to-back wins over Andy Booker (4-1) and Jon Wibberley (4-2) then saw Steadman reach the semi-finals, where he faced Halim Hussain.
The two players shared the opening two frames before Steadman impressively took five in a row to earn a 6-1 victory and book his place in the title match against 22-year-old Ryan Davies.
Both Steadman and Davies had compiled impressive maximum breaks under the six-red format earlier in the event and the early stages were hard-fought as the two players shared the opening six frames.
From there, Steadman pulled ahead as he ran out a 7-3 victor to earn the English 6-Red Championship title for the second time.
